Job description

As a toolmaker at GF meco eckel in Biedenkopf, you will be manufacturing die casting molds for industrial serial production. You will learn how to produce separate pieces using CNC-controlled machine-tools, while adhering to the dimensions specified by technical drawings. The assembly of the manufactured separate pieces into finished die casting tools is also part of your responsibilities.

    What is the duration of the apprenticeship?

    3.5 years (can be reduced to 3 years in the case of exceptional performance)

    Where does the training take place?

    The basic training and exam preparation will take place at the C+P Bildungszentrum. You work at GF meco eckel in Biedenkopf and also attend the professional school there.

    What is the salary during the apprenticeship?
    • 1st year of apprenticeship: 1'083€
    • 2nd year of apprenticeship: 1'148€
    • 3rd year of apprenticeship: 1'236€
    • 4th year of apprenticeship: 1'282€
